More New Neighbors: In Los Angeles Little Tokyo, the 226 First Street storefront that used to house a fried chicken stand, a ramen shop, and who remembers what else is now home to the latest project by Akira Hirose, who shuttered his Maison Akira in Pasadena to plant a new flagpole in Tha LT. I'm not well-versed in Asian fusion food, but I'll give any righteous bruthah who's willing to run his shop while rocking an aloha print button-down shirt a serious try. Facebook Nation, go ahead and give this place a try, and let's compare notes. I'm tired of places that try and try and TRY to ram poke down our throats. This joint might be a welcome alternative. #AzayLittleTokyo
